Originally from Ireland, Mike Collard reflects his Irish heritage in his honest, dependable, friendly, hard-working approach to his business.
Depend Painting & Decorating was founded by Mike in 1990, the same year he relocated to Chicago from Grand Rapids and got married. It was his goal to become one of the leading commercial painting companies in the Chicagoland area, providing everything from exterior painting to restroom wallcoverings.
Since day one, Mike has emphasized the value of quality employees … professionals who not only know their business, but share his honesty, hard-work ethic, and true enjoyment of interacting with all kinds of people.

Collard has been a resident of Naperville since 1996, and an active member of the Naperville Exchange Club since 1997. He has been married for 22 years, and is raising his two children in Naperville's School District 203.
